To be “like a woman” is to celebrate women’s skills and resiliency and beauty. To be “like a woman” is to advocate for safety and justice and inclusion. To be “like a woman” is to express sorrow and rage and hope. As women and all people who believe in gender equity, we demand recognition of women’s innate equality and right to full global participation.

The program will celebrate women with speakers representing many cultures and experiences in PEI. There will also be singing, music, dancing and movement led by diverse women. The afternoon will be participatory and informal, with a children’s activities area and a button-making station for all ages on site. Admission is FREE and snacks are provided.
