Please join the PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women on March 17th from 5 – 7pm for a free screening of the short film “This River,” followed by discussion and a panel at the Charlottetown Library in the Rotary Auditorium (97 Queen Street).
Katherena Vermette’s 19-minute documentary offers “an Indigenous perspective on the devastating experience of searching for a loved one who has disappeared,” with themes of “beauty, grace, resilience, and activism born out of the need to do something.”
